New York, con i suoi 5 distretti, offre almeno un centinaio di attrazioni che meriterebbero tutte di essere visitate, senza contare locali, ristoranti e negozi. Per vedere tutto questo probabilmente non basterebbero 10 vacanze, senza contare che per la maggior parte delle persone, New York non è che una tappa di un tour in USA a cui dedicare pochi giorni.

Se come tanti turisti siete alla ricerca di una guida di viaggio che vi indichi senza tanti “Fronzoli” le migliori attrazioni di New York, siete nel posto giusto. Si perché, anche se sembra impossibile, bisogna anche riconoscere che in Italia ci sono città come Roma, Napoli, Firenze, Venezia (e non solo), grazie alle quali siamo molto abituati alle “Attrazioni”.
Pertanto, per quanto New York possa essere bella, siamo perfettamente in grado di indicarvi quella decina di attrazioni che sono realmente imperdibili.

La città di New York, come tutte le più visitate del mondo, prevede diverse “Card” il cui acquisto prevede abbonamenti e sconti ad attrazioni e tour.

La Statua della Libertà è uno dei più importanti simboli di New York, del popolo americano e dei tanti immigrati che ancora oggi decidono di recarsi in America in cerca di fortuna.
La Statua si può raggiungere in traghetto, il tour completo porta via circa mezza giornata e vi consigliamo di farlo il prima possibile, così da poter passare alle altre attrazioni.
Al momento non è possibile salire sulla “Fiaccola”, mentre è di nuovo possibile accedere alla corona, anche se dovete organizzarvi bene. Prima di tutto, per visitare la corona bisogna acquistare dei biglietti specifici, e bisogna farlo anche un po’ di tempo prima perché tendono a finire rapidamente. Altro aspetto che dovete conoscere prima di raggiungere la corona è che vi aspettano circa 20 piani da fare piedi, pertanto dovete essere fisicamente in grado di sostenere lo sforzo.
Ultimo consiglio per visitare la Statua, i momenti migliori sono alle prime ore del mattino o al tramonto.
Il “One World Trade Center” è il grattacielo più alto di New York, in grado oggi di offrire una vista mozzafiato della città. L’imponente edificio sorge dove un tempo si trovavano le Torri Gemelle, distrutte nell’attentato dell’11 settembre che ha causato la morte di moltissime persone.
Per commemorare quel nefasto giorno, è stato eretto il 9/11 Memorial, insieme ad un complesso di edifici che oggi sono visitati da qualsiasi turista in vacanza a New York.
Piccolo consiglio: in genere il One World Trade Center viene visitato dopo essersi recati in visita alla Statua della Libertà.
Come non visitare il celebre Central Park, la grande oasi verde di Manhattan, dove tanti newyorkesi si recano ogni giorno per correre passeggiare, o per la pausa pranzo.
Una bella passeggiata a Manhattan è l’ideale per staccare un attimo dal caos della città, ma ovviamente è meglio visitarlo durante una bella giornata.
Può sembrare scontato ma cercate di visitare il parco di giorno e rimanete sempre lungo i viali principali. Essendo un’area molto ampia, purtroppo non è sempre controllata e dopo il tramonto può diventare pericoloso.
Dopo essere stato per oltre trent’anni il grattacielo più alto del mondo, oggi è solo il quarto più alto degli Stati Uniti, ma probabilmente è il più iconico della città, soprattutto ora che non ci sono più le Torri Gemelle.
L’Empire State Building è stato protagonista di tanti film e serie TV, primo tra tutti “Insonnia d’amore”, e ogni giorni sono sempre tantissimi i turisti che si recano in visita all’87° piano, dove si trova la terrazza panoramica, e al 102°, dove invece presente l’osservatorio.
I prezzi per la visita dei due piani più importanti del grattacielo si aggirano intorno ai 50 dollari, non sono sicuramente economici, ma non si può dire che non ne valga la pena.
Il Ponte di Brooklyn è la location perfetta per i vostri selfie, ma è anche uno dei luoghi più visitati della città. Il ponte collega Manhattan a Brooklyn e può essere attraversato anche a piedi, ma dovete aver voglia di passeggiare per 2 chilometri. Il Ponte di Brooklyn non è solo molto fotografato, è anche un luogo dove scattare bellissime inquadrature dello skyline di Manhattan.
Se New York è la città che non dorme mai, Times Square è sicuramente il suo orologio. Al centro di questa piazza infatti, dove è celebrato uno dei più bei capodanni del mondo, capirete veramente il termine “Consumismo americano”.

Da qui potrete facilmente raggiungere alcune delle zone e delle attrazioni più importanti della città, infatti Times Square, e le vie limitrofe, sono considerate tra i luoghi più comodi dove alloggiare.

Wall Street è un’altra delle vie più iconiche della città, e rappresenta il centro finanziario non solo di New York ma di tutti gli Stati Uniti. I miti e anche le aspre critiche che vengono rivolte a chi abita questo luogo, hanno contribuito ad accrescerne la fama, tanto da trasformarlo in un vero e proprio polo d’attrazione per turisti. Qui potrete vedere la Borsa di New York, la sede del Wall Street Journal, il palazzo del Mercato Finanziario e soprattutto “Il Toro di Dal Street”. Si dice che accarezzare la statua dell’imponente animale porti fortuna.
Sono 2 tra le strade più conosciute per lo shopping, sempre affollate e soprattutto durante il Black Friday.
Qui troverete praticamente tutti i marchi di moda più famosi del mondo, ma anche elettronica, libri, giocattoli e tanti bar dove fare una pausa ogni tanto.

Si tratta della via dove potrete assistere ad alcuni degli spettacoli teatrali e musical più belli del mondo. La scelta è veramente ampia, dovrete infatti consultare una guida della città per conoscere la programmazione che troverete, in modo da poter prenotare lo spettacolo che più vi attira.
Dopo lo spettacolo, se avete fame, potete recarvi a “Hell’s Kitchen”, il quartiere vicino famoso per i suoi tanti ristoranti e frequentato anche da molti attori.
